First Lomellina rice yields bulletin
At the beginning of August 2015 was emitted the first rice bulletin referred to Indica Lungo-B type in Lomellina and Vercelli provinces (ERMES Italian study area), based on data simulated until the end of July.
The bulletin has been issued by UMIL in collaboration with CNR IREA, IMAA and Ente Nazionale Risi.
The first forecasting results revealed that rice yields are in line with the average of the last five years, with just a little decrease.
