ERMES KICK-OFF MEETING
The ERMES kick off meeting was held in Milan on 12-13th March 2013-2014. It was attended by more then 60 people representing public bodies, scientific partners, end users and stakeholders.
The project will last 3 years; its team is given by partners coming from Italy, Greece, Spain and Switzerland.
During the meeting the speakers well explained as the main objective of ERMES services is to reinforce the European competitiveness supporting the EU agricultural sustainable development. The project will hence sustain the regional agro-environmental policies providing reliable information to the agro-business sector. This purpose will be achieved making use of a prototype of downstream service dedicated to rice sector.
ERMES long term goal is to extend and adapt its final services to other international markets.
