Fiera in campo 2015: a regional exhibition to discuss on the future of rice production
Fiera in Campo, an Italian exhibition focused on agricultural and agri-food productions, will be held from February 27th to March 1st 2015 at Centro Fiere di Caresanablot (Vercelli, Italy). This year the event will pay particular attention to the issue of innovative and conservative rice-growing.
The local group of young agricultural producers named Anga-giovani di Confagricoltura di Vercelli-Biella will propose some interesting insights and discussion topics involving farmers and consumers. They will deal with environment, ethics, responsible entrepreneurship, innovation and health.
On February the 27th a special session will be dedicated to the technologies and practices currently available for rice production, to the European regulation on rice/food labeling and traceability and to the presentation of specific research projects.
RicEnergy, a rice-focused project, and Life HelpSoil, an EU funded research initiative, will be indeed introduced in this section.
