deliverable 4.4 service design
Authors: Granell C. (UJI), Casteleyn S. (UJI) , Guerrero I. (UJI), Trilles S. (UJI), Busetto L. (CNR-IREA)
Task 4.4: Services design. The main focus of this deliverable is the design specification of the required interoperable interfaces, such as the description and design of software artefacts that cover a well-defined, independent functionality, required to achieve the expected functionalities of the ERMES system. Among others, the ERMES system will include the Regional Rice Service (RRS), the Local Rice Service (LRS), and the Smart App Service (SAS).

DELIVERABLE 4.3 Services requirements
Authors: Bordogna G.( CNR IREA ), Rampini A.(CNR IREA), Pepe M. (CNR IREA), Boschetti M. (CNR IREA), Lorenzo Busetto ( CNR IREA ), Granell C. (UJI)
Task 4.3: Services requirements. The objective of this deliverable is to define the service requirements based on the Description of Work (DoW) and the user and model requirements described in deliverables D4.1 and D4.2. Specifically, two distinct sets of service requirements will be defined, external and internal service requirements.

Deliverable 4.2 – Model Requirements
Authors: Confalonieri R. (University of Milan), Bregaglio S. (University of Milan), Stella T. (University of Milan)
Task 4.2: Model and data assimilation requirements. This report describes how remote sensing data, field observations and crop models will be integrated within two different modelling solutions (i.e., ERMES-WARM modelling solutions) that will be developed for the ERMES project as realizations of the WARM model targeting the specific project needs. These modelling solutions will be integrated in products providing services at local and regional scales.

Deliverable 4.1 – Products requirements, data procurement plan and validation strategy
Authors: Gitas I. (AUTh), Karamanolis D. (AUTh), Karydas C. (AUTh)
Task 4.1 - Data/products requirements and validation strategy. This report is the result of common efforts by ERMES partners involved in WP4 and especially with regard to their contribution to Task 4.1. The objective of this task is to evaluate availability and suitability (or appropriateness) of Earth Observation (EO) and field datasets for the production of thematic maps which could be used:
  • As input to WARM model for rice yield prediction (regional scale)
  • Autonomously, for rice crop monitoring throughout the cultivation season (regional/localscale)
  • As input to precision farming strategies in rice cultivation (local/field scale)
