Task 2.2 Annual project meetings The 2nd ERMES annual meeting was held at the premises of the School of Forestry and Natural Environment of Aristotele's University of Thessaloniki (Greece).The main event took place the first two days ; the third one was devoted to bilaterl meetings with end-users.

Task 3.3: Project information for user data protection Within the ERMES project Ethical Issues are related to the tracking of human subjects, and the collection of personal data. Actions to face ethics issues have been outlined in the deliverable D1.11 Ethical Issue Documents and managed under the Management Work Package (WP1).

Task 9.1: Service application at regional scale. This document summarizes the core ERMES products generated during the first year of demonstration for what concerns the Regional Rice Service. A set of tables briefly describing the produced datasets, for each ERMES test site, is here reported. Task 8.1 The activities of the ERMES Task 8.1 are focused on the overall validation of the ERMES Local Products and Services, in terms of their accuracy and quality as assessed through independent means. The results of this analysis are necessary for assessing the products’ usefulness from the end-users’ point of view, but also serves as means to identify possible improvements that can be incorporated into the respective processing chains.

Task 9.1: Service application at regional scale. Activities of Task 9.1 are focused on the services demonstration at regional scale. Activities conducted within this task in the 2015 rice growing season were therefore dedicated to the production in near real time of the main ERMES products related to the Regional Rice Service and to the delivery of earlier products to the main regional end-users in accordance to what specified within the Service Level Agreements. This deliverable summarizes the main achievements of the first year of demonstration in the three European regional study areas by briefly describing i) the products/services already generated or in phase of finalization, and ii) the way in which they were used in the general context of the project, and disseminated to end-users, on a per-product base.
