Task 5.2: Crop detection and spatial variability. The objective of this report is to present, demonstrate, and discuss methods and obtained results (in 2014) by Task 5.2 in relation to the processing chain and work flow to be followed for the generation of the following ERMES products rice crop extent , constant pattern and seasonal pattern.

This deliverable documents the processing chains used or developed for the generation of ERMES product(s): Rice Crop Extent, which is related to the production of regional rice area maps; Constant Patterns, which is related to the production of local constant pattern maps; Seasonal Patterns, which is related to the production of local seasonal pattern maps.

Task 5.1: ERMES data archives. This release document reports on the v0 version of the ERMES data and products catalogue. The ERMES data and products catalogue has been designed and implemented in strong connection with the Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) design and best practice task 7.1 of the WP7.
