The conference will be held at the 112th FierAgricola, International Agricultural Technologies Show, which will take place in Verona on the 4th of Febraury 2016, at 3 PM. A special focus will be dedicated to the cooperation between CNR researchers and Lomellina rice farmers in the context of the European FP7 project ERMES.

During the meeting Luigi Sartori (University of Padua), Alberto Crema (IREA-CNR) and Raffaele Casa (Tuscia University) will present research activities in the national context and case studies where precision farming is already successfully adopted.

After the first session, a round table will take place involving ERMES researchers, precision farmers collaborating with ERMES project, vice-president of rice district “Risaie della Lomellina”, a representative of “Consorzio di tutela della I.G.P Riso Nano Vialone Veronese” and SPEKTRA AGRI s.r.l.
