Led by UJI, this WP will regard the deployment and testing of a geospatial information system, of efficient and interoperable backend services, and of frontend or client-based services adapting new participatory tools and mobile devices.
The system will provide authorized ERMES users access to the ERMES regional and local services, allowing them to retrieve and analyze high quality and frequently updated information on rice development and growth .
The main objectives of the WP will be :
- To design an SDI to integrate existing registered web services for discovering, accessing, managing and visualizing data and information, including the developed ERMES services;
- To build-up, on the basis of the designed SDI, a web based geo-portal interface allowing users to visualize ERMES EO and information products;
- To develop and integrate smart applications for the interaction and information exchange with end-users using mobile technology.
